BIO

Chase Hooper born and raised in Enumclaw, Washington started doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the age of 8. Competing locally through his youth, and then at the age of 16 going on to take first place at the IBJJF Pan American Championships in Irvine, CA. Transitioning to MMA at the age of 17, he amassed a record of 6-0 all while still in High School. 
 
In the Fall of 2017, after turning 18, he transitioned to professional MMA and after only 6 months he was able to go 5-0 and earn a place on the UFC’s Contender series for a shot at a UFC contract. Two months later he went on to win his fight on the Contender Series and earn a developmental contract with the UFC. After 3 fights on the developmental contract with UFC Fight Pass, he went on to make his transition to the UFC as the youngest fighter on the roster and one of the youngest to ever be signed. Making his debut at UFC 245 in Las Vegas, Nevada in December of 2019 and going on to win with a first round TKO. 
 
Chase has been fighting for the UFC ever since. In May of 2021, he went on to earn his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu after 13+ years of training. Most recently he went on to earn a Performance of the Night Bonus in May of 2022 for his 3rd round TKO at UFC Fight Night 206. With a current overall record of 17-2 (11-2 pro, and 6-0 amateur) he has collected 10 of those wins by submission and 5 of the remaining 7 wins by TKO.
